Just make sure that you get the electric tongue jack as it makes hooking up the Equalizer so much easier than hand crank.

Also just to double check, the 2013 233s has a 2-5/16" receiver?

BTW Grizzly, I wonder what year your trailer will be. It's possible that you get a 2014 as they seem to changeover right about March.

Hey Triguy, I got a call from my dealer on Tuesday and he said he just contacted the rep and the rep said it will be a 2014 but no change from the 2013 other than the year. Maybe it will help for resale?

BTW, I installed the P3 brake controller this afternoon in my Tundra. I was gonna put it in the pocket by the center console but ended up mounting it on the lower dash by the footwell near the right knee. Everything turned on and seems to work but there is no real way to test it until I get the trailer.

That's good. The "extra" year does help with resale if sold within the next few years. After 5 or 6 years, though, it matters much less in my experience. Rockwood and Flagstaff seem to make two or three changes throughout the year. sometimes it is simply a change in year, sometimes including minor items (fabric color, add or subtract a cabinet, etc) and sometimes fairly major (like when they changed the bunkends). Oftentimes, the dealers themselves are surprised by these changes. The next change will be in the late summer.

That lower dash position is also where I installed my P3 in my Sequoia. I looked at the pocket you refer to but also decided not to put it there. I like to keep that open for other items and I find that the P3 doesn't get in the way with it above the knee.

I could see mounting it in the pocket if I towed all the time but not when it is my wifes daily driver. Plus, that screen is kind of bright, I need to figure out how to dim it and change the color to match the interior lights.

Thanks again for everyones input.

Definitely going with the original Equalizer 1k/10k sway control
