Ive had a prodgiy in our SD since 2000.I like it,or it wouldnt be there, but ! have 4 different trailers I pull with this set up and every one has a different starting point from 4 to 7. but I would go with the prodigy again. 14 yrs of service is pretty good in my book!

As evidenced by this thread (and many others like it), there are very few people willing to pay the extra cost for an integrated controller. You probably have a much greater chance of finding a DirecLink user by starting your own thread with your question. I too would like to see what DirecLink owners think of them.

I love my MaxBrake, and if it ever fails I wouldn't think twice before ordering a DirecLink (MaxBrake and it's competitor Brake Smart are both no longer available). If you have seen the price and are still interested, than I highly doubt you would be disappointed.

Hello Folks - just a little follow up. Based on the recommendations in this thread, I ended up purchasing a Prodigy P3 controller. It was a snap to swap out the Voyager and install the P3. Same wiring connection, same bracket.
We just got home after a 1,350 mile Spring Break trip. What a difference! The new controller was so smooth, easy to adjust and worked exactly how I was hoping it would. Set it and forget it. Wow!
I am really grateful for all of the advice and experience you shared. It made the trip - especially the stop and go traffic we hit, much more enjoyable. Thank you very much!

I have the prodigy as well - does the job, and it seems to be the model of choice
