Window shade Shamrock 183

Just took delivery of our 2014 Shamrock 183 and one thing has me perplexed. The window beside the dinette has a brown shade. The stings are screwed to the wall. How do you go about raising it? After all it is an emergency exit too.
Thanks
Bill

You simply pull up on the lower plastic part of the shade itself. It retracts and extends with pressure.

Don't feel alone, I had the same question during our PDI. It's all good!
