Winterizing - where is antifreeze inlet?

I know there is a winterize forum but thought I'd have a better chance here.

On my 2010 21SS I don't see any inlet with valve for antifreeze like my old trailer. Is there one and where is it located? You lucky guys with a newer one apparently have it on outside.

I found the drains just below the clothing closet. Looked like there was only a hot at first, the cold is hidden out of sight below the hot.

I think the easiest way to tell if you have an anti-freeze inlet is to look at your water pump. If it has the inlet, you should see a valve with a hose going somewhere. (Either to the side of the camper to just to a long hose...that you'll use to draw in the antifreeze.)

I'll post a picture with no antifreeze inlet and one with it...hope they help!

Yep, the outside AF inlet is a newer feature on the Roo.
you'll probably have to add a kit, as pictured above.

My 2012 Roo 19 had the AF connection. I think that was the first year.

Thanks all, definitely not on the pump like my old trailer, ordered Camco's kit http://www.amazon.ca/Camco-36543-X-P.../dp/B0006JJ588 like shown above to make my job easier. I have the system drained and along with the hot water tank and as we are starting to get nights in around the freezing point I may have to do it tomorrow by hooking the hose to the suction side as I can't get the kit until Tuesday or so.

You can also use the fresh water inlet with a hand pump. It will take two people, one outside to pump and one inside to open/close the faucets.

You should also drain the water heater and bypass it so you don't pump 6 gals of anti-freeze into it.

Just want to confirm that the 2011 roo 233s doesn't have an inlet underneath - that I'll have to use an adaptor kit - and thanks for the pic. It's still hard for me to tell where to unhook it and redirect it from the pump

Here is a photo of one that was added. Just cut the hose beween the fw tank and pump and add the valve. Stick the new hose into a gallon of antifreeze and turn on the pump.

I show the hose stuck into a 5 gallon jug of water but to add antifreeze you would put the hose into the gallon jug of it instead. Make sure you have bypassed and drained your hw heater. Turn pump on and open your faucets one at a time till it flows pink. Don't forget your outside shower if you have one.

I put one of those on our last trailer and loved it, very easy to install, too.

I just ordered one, thanks. I assume you have to cut the line to the FW to install the bypass valve. Anyone with a 2011 Roo 233S or similar, I know where the pump is, but any other details on installation would be much appreciated.

YouRoo: I saw this in the Amazon reviews also not to mention when I was putting it in this evening. Might be prudent to take it out in the spring. Next year I plan on experimentation to get more water flow in my shower and this probably wouldn't help.

Installed it - I may remove it due to apparent flow issues - but I rarely use FW tank anyways.
