Wobble wobble shake.

Hi, all. I've been lurking on the forum since prior to purchasing our Shamrock 23IKSS. I have gained a lot of information just reading posts. I appreciate the feedback and experiences everyone shares about their Hybrid.
We have had our trailer about six weeks and have gone camping twice. I am thrilled that we have had no issues with our Shamrock. In fact I am impressed with the overall quality of construction and improved materials that are used in today's RV's. I was especially happy to find that or trailer pulled like a dream and my fuel mileage is not bad at all.
My only complaint is the amount of wobble and shake we have when set up. I see many different ways of addressing this from X-chocks, BAL lock arm stabilizers, Camco wheel stops, and some home made remedies.
Any feedback on what would be the best bang for my buck?

Thanks!

Start with a set of tandem wheel chocks.
See if that improves things.
For most of us, that usually does the trick

A set of X-chocks and four of these is what I would try.

Place one like so under each stab jack.

I installed the Steady Fast stabilization system on our 23IKSS and really like it. It is easy to install and works great. Check it out at steadyfast.com

Really like those stabilizer supports, Ford. Will be making a set prior to our first trip.

Nice weight/space-saving idea! Now, where did I put that dado blade?

Interesting and cheap way, might need to try those because X-Chocks do not make a big different, I thought of putting a set of Electric Stabilizers found in 5ers but at $3000 way not worth it

I'm a little longer than you, but I've got 2 4x6's stacked under each scissor jack and X-chocks and the camper still shakes when the 15 lb wiener dog waddles through the camper, so I'm adding another set of stabilizers mid ship in front of the wheels. Hopefully that does the trick because I'm running out of crap to add!

Let me know how that works out I was thinking of doing the same thing just have to find a place to mount them, and not sure they will help because they do not stabilize the Roo that well to begin with

How about those stackable stabilizer jacks that come in a four pack? Anyone tried these? Maybe two in front and two behind the axles?Click image for larger version

One of the first things I noticed about my 2016 Shamrock 23WS was how solid it felt even just hooked up to the TV, I assume this is due to the suspension and stiffness of the frame etc.

I had a 2011 Kodiak single axle before this and hooked just to the TV it was literally a "bounce house" LOL and it shook and bounced a lot even when set up, I thought that is just the way a hybrid is and accepted it, but the WS seems to be very solid in that regard.

I'm not sure we talking about the same thing but If I remember right they cost around 400.00 from LCI. I know OC cut some down on his trailer and installed them before the wheels and trailer is hard rock solid. Leave it to the OLD MAN to come up with something new, his mind never quits.... If your going to Goshin, they change out quite a few you probably could get them free before they throw them out. I was to late last year. There's also an Amish trailer junk yard down the road from there he had 100's of them in a stack for sale. Maybe worth looking into if your going to Goshen...

I meant the electric/hydraulic 4 point jacks with self leveling ability. Figured two up front and two in rear but can't figure a way to mount it and cost is too high. I think the 4 point would lift the Roo right off the ground...lol

Yes it will lift a roo right off the ground, Hydraulic ie 3400 installed 4 point system the electric would run about 2800.00 plus any reinforcing of the frame so you can't twist it. Unless you can find away to take the weight off the tires without lifting them you will always have movement. That's were the electric stabilizers would be good. not the 4 point leveling system IMO...

I found one x-chock made very little difference. Two made a huge difference. Stacking some boards under the steps was the final piece that had me happy.
