2018 Arctic Wolf glowing ( blue) light switches

I have a 2018 Artic Wolf 5th wheel and every single light switch and USB port has lights built in ( blue to be exact) I enjoy a dark room when I sleep any idea how to disable the lights or where I can order replacement switches?

There is a wire behind the switch that gives power to the light part only, I'm pretty sure it's been awhile since I replaced one, disconnect it there is like 3 or 4 wires that plug into each switch. If that doesn't work you can buy new rocker liteless switches, from just about any supply house, but they are not cheap.

Actually, the power for the led comes in on the same hot that the switch is controlling. For the led to illuminate, there’s a ground wire. Removing the ground will disable the led and not impact the functioning of the connected device. How do I know? I replaced illuminated switches on my boat. Had to run a ground to each one to get them to work.

Thanks I’m off to give it a try. There most definitely were 3 wires running into each switch. I didn’t want to get crazy an disconnect with out asking first

How about a little dab of black paint on it? Easier than taking it apart I would think.

These are great

LightDims Black Out Edition - Light Blocking LED covers / Light Dimming Sheets for Routers, Electronics and Appliances and more. Blocks 100% of Light, in Retail Packaging https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009WSN8PK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kJyMCbW9WJMCM

Also, try black gorilla tape. Place strip on wax paper and then cut to desired size. Pull off the wax paper and stick in place.
