23 ft. Salem T.T. mounting 2 bikes ?

Hi everyone it's us the old goat travelers again, and I mean old .We are going to be traveling from Phx. Az. and travel and camp our way to Michigan this summer and want to take our old Beach Cruisers with us.We don't want to put them in our 23 ft. T.T. and won't be able to put them in our pickup bed as we have a folding cover the length of the bed.So I think mounting 2 bikes on the rear bumper of the T.T. is too much weight for the rear bumper/frame. I was wondering if maybe 1 on the rear and somehow build/buy a frame type mount that will clear the propane tanks and batteries ? That way 1 on the front and 1 on the back might be safer. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you neil and maureen

Camping world sells a bike rack that mounts to the frame of a TT and extend sit above the propane tanks.

we have a 23 ft also. I made a unit that sits above the propane tanks. it is perfect, and removal. not sure how to get pics on here, but will work on it. if there is a way to email back and forth I will

this is only pic I have now.
I will get more when I get home in few days.
it is made of square tubing. I welded 4 small squares on frame, the made a frame that slides into them. have a board on top, that the bikes sit on. take off front tire and used TULE fork brackets to put front forks into. solid as a rock.

We take our bikes everywhere we go.
We added this hitch and bike rack.
Bike rack locks the bikes as well.
