There is a pretty good site dedicated to Fort Wilderness. Fort Fiends - Articles - Fort Fiends
There was another one run by one of the WDW bus drivers that talks about the actual lots but I can't find it.
One of the things we learned on the last trip was how much cheaper it is to rent a golf cart off-site. They will deliver to the parking lot only. See web site above for details.

If you have an iPhone or Android - download the Fort Wilderness Sites App. Just pick the loop, pick the site number and provides a picture, what provided, and difficulty of backing in.

When selecting unseen, be cautious, very cautious. I jackknifed my 36.5 Silverback hooked to a short bed, slider in. Had left rear wheels rubbing the stationary garbage cans and was 1/10 inch clearance of truck fender on right side! One hour to squeeze past obstacles. Unbelievable! Came around and offered me a chance to select another site BUT pull out, exit, wait in line AGAIN at entrance. Uhhhh, duh, no tanks!! Goofy
has left the house 👎. Bring 1,000 gallons of bug spray for those swamps!!
Better idea....pay for Premier site, ez in and out, no swamp. Walk over and look at the turkeys and foget boud it!!
We were there over Christmas 2014.

Not yet. I missed a couple good strikes on a frog earlier in the week. The wind was blowing hard today from MK to the Fort. I caught this guy by running the crank bait from the deep to shallow water. I will still have some chances at the big one, but the water temp is working against me fishing the shallow banks. I was watching how the fishing guides where setting up and they were all setting up in deeper water.

All in all I would say we have a successful camp at the fort. I wish the conditions would have been better for fishing, but in spite of that I caught fish. The Trail's buffet was pretty good, but not worth the prices. You can get better food at a Texas Roadhouse for 1/2 the cost. The other amenities at the part were very neat and great.
