Because you need to find the other gray tank drain valve handle and then you can empty the tank. My unit has one black tank and two gray tanks. The pull handle for the black tank and one gray tank are close together above the drain cap and the other gray tank valve is about four feet back, closer to the rear of the unit.

All three of my drain valves are directly above the sewer drain.

Bro Les, that phontom valve is not there? I wonder if they covered it up with that cheap insulation stuff? It's a 2016 model. Have used it twice. Guessing the one I have now emptied twice is for the shower, which we havent used.

Jwamiller, I have a similar situation. First off, I know my tanks and valves are mis-labelled. My black water empties by pulling the valve labeled "waste water". It's a silver handle, long rod located directly above the drain pipe. The other 2 valves are located about a foot aft of that, they are short stubs mounted up on the frame rail. One has a black handle but is labeled "gray water" and the other has a silver handle labeled "black water". My unit is at the dealer right now for a warranty worklist, and this is one of my items on the list. I do know this: I can only get 2 showers before one tank is full. Something is not right.

Finally found it friends. Its a black handle about 16" directly up from the other two. Was not expecting it to be so high up on the frame. Thank you all for your help!

Mine was also grey. Funny story as I was trying to get my grey tank to drain and I kept pulling the grey handle. I finally cut a hole in my underbelly to see why the valve wasn't opening and I quickly realized that I was draining my black tank.

So I taped the black tank handle black with electrical tape and the grey tank handle grey with duct tape so I don't get them mixed up anymore
