We only have 1 trip planned outside of parking our rig at the permanent spot at my in-laws private campground, and we can't book that trip until April 1 as the campground doesn't take reservations until then...

Just ordered our QBUD yesterday from three way campers in Marietta Ga. They didn't give us a time frame hope it will be soon. Ordered with second air and slide toppers. Can't wait.

My qbud is being built today. I was looking at your post for the tv bracket, did you have to change the brackets on the wall outside also for the new bracket to adapt to. And will that arm that pivots work well inside. That's the only thing I didn't like about TT was not being able to see tv.

The arm fits right inside the bracket on the outside wall...easy peasy.

as for the arm working on the inside that would work also. As for me I just tilt the TV towards the couch a little bit for a better view. You can do this as the tv mount swings 180* so you can watch tv while you are in bed or swing it back the other way to watch tv in the living room.

Ramco has a whole bunch of different versions of the mount, you may want to get something different for the inside of the trailer. Just make sure you get the Quick Disconnect version of their mounts.

Picked our 2017 QBUD up two days ago and we love it. Only had one issue during the walk through. They were showing me where to winterize it and we found a melted wire off the water heater guess it got pinched or something. Repaired that and were home getting set up for camping this coming up weekend.

Did you get it with the 10.0 cubic inch whirlpool refrigerator? I've had my eye on these and am waiting until May to pull the trigger.

Have any tips or things that you wish you had known while going through the sales process?

And, not to start the towing debate but what are you pulling it with?

Extensive walk through, compare many dealers, pre delivery checklist from this forum, and a bank i trust. Oh and towing with a 2012 Tundra double cab.

My process was quick and painless for me, not the dealer, I did a 3 hour walk through and then made them fix everything before I gave them my money. I went over everything with a fine tooth comb. Then make sure the dealer you buy from has a great service department.

As for truck to pull this trailer you will need minimum 1700lbs payload and about 10,000lbs towing capacity. Best off with a 3/4 ton or bigger. Some half tons can do it, but you would want a heavy half ton for sure e.g. Toyota Tundra.

I pull with a 2014 Chevy 1500 crew cab. It knows it's back there for sure. Make sure that they cover everything, even were the pump is to winterize, glad I ask on that one its in a horrible spot. My guy got to talking to much about life and went around a bunch of stuff, had to get him back on track. He ask me if I wanted to video the walk through for my reference at a Iater time. I had a Great dealer the sale part was easy and the service department seems to be really well they bent over backward for me on the stuff I ask them to fix and did a good clean job.
