5th Wheel info

Wife and I are considering moving out of the worst state in the country for a better place to live.Considering trading up to a 5th wheel and living in it for a year or so.It will be some place south so a 4 season unit shouldnt be needed.Just looking for some ideas on some descent models and any info from anyone that might be living in one full time.

I would check into the Grand Design Solitude. I would have bought one in a heartbeat if they had a bunkhouse in the Solitude. The Solitude is set up nicely for a couple.

PA is not that far away and except for a few "cities" it is a wonderful place to live. Just stay away from the "I95 Corridor" and you should be very happy here.

Need to check out Louisiana then. I told Fritz (DH) last week I've NEVER seen this much road work going on at the same time in my life here.

Mind you, I am not saying hitch up and come on down, but I'd definitely put LA on my short list to check out.

Cedar Creek would be a good choice for living in it a year and well beyond. I know a number of snowbirds that have Wildcats and they're happy with their choice. I've also talked to a couple of Brookstone (Coachmen) owners and they're were very happy also. Good luck on your quest for a fifth wheel.
