There is always the 1/2 ton debate, but seldom have I seen a 3/4 ton debate. I get the impression that once behind the wheel of a 3/4 ton, you're prepared for anything. The fact is, these owners also extend the limits of the 3/4 ton and drive down the road heavily ladened with a false sense of security. Another fact is that most of these people probably shouldn't be on the road, even behind the wheel of a corolla. The point I am making, is, if you are at the outer limits or not of your truck, drive with care and caution and you will be ok. That will be my plan.

OK, "Uncle" I spent an hour trying to find the translation. I thought it might be french, but no dice. Then German; also No Joy.
iGoogle and Wiki were also stumped.

Will take a Lifeline and Poll the audience.

I wonder if those who pull 10,000 lb campers with their 1/2 tons, and claim that is completely safe, have the intelligence to give any worthwhile opinion?

1/2 versus 3/4

With all the debate I have decided to upgrade my tow vehicle and downsize my camper. I hope I fall within the limits of the truck.
