Our entry door rubs the awning. Door is curved corner, not sharp 90 degree. Wondering how many of you with same issue have installed the roller on the door? If so, why? It doesn't rub hard so I don't think it would be an issue, but want your opinions. Thank you.
If this is an electric awning and the awning is fully open, this happens. If you close/retract the awning just enough so the flap hangs straight down, 1. The awning will be just high enough so you don't need the roller and 2. there will be just enough wrap on the fabric to reduce the stress on the attaching seam at the roller

Haven't really had a problem with mine yet, as long as I have the awning set to be straight out.
I added the new Camco Roller ball just in case. $6 or 7 via eBay.
