Best 4 Bike Carrier for 2" receiver on back of 30' TT

I have had a 2" receiver added to the rear of my Sandpiper 303BH. It was done by a welding shop so no need to discuss how that was done. I am now looking for the best 4 bike carrier for a 2" receiver that will take the bouncing at the back of the TT.

There are none that will take the extreme bouncing. you will have to support the rack so there is no movement from it. that is what I did. I put a set bolt in the receiver to take out any vertical movement. then I installed 2 eye bolts so I could use 2 ratchet straps to support the bike rack to the back of the trailer. I would never just let the weight of the bikes hang on the hitch or carrier. there is way to much force at work at the back of the trailer.

The rear "bumper" (4 inch square tubing) will NOT support much weight or torsion type twisting. I destroyed mine within 500 miles. Dodge Guy is right, stop any movement. I took a platform carrier and put it in backwards, carried extra jack pads in it then put the bicycle carrier into the remaining opening. Spacers were just 1-1/2 inch angle iron and it fit perfectly. Moral of the story, don't plan on carrying your bicycle on the manufactures back bumper!

I used this type one year and it worked fine for me. The caveat being you need to be a patient magician to get four bikes on a four bike carrier. I used it for two bikes. Mine bounced as I had no supporting set screws to keep it solid.

I ended up with purchasing the Swagman XP 4 (not the fold down one). It is the only one I could find that was certified to be mounted at the rear of a TT.
