Bunk Bed Question

I have a '12 Shamrock 233S and I'm looking to get away from expandables. We bought it because it has 3 true queen beds since we have two teenagers. Well, it turns out that we don't use it for family camping nearly as much as my son, my brother, and I use it for hunting. The condensation inside the canvas on cold nights, inability to cool in the Texas heat, and dealing with outside moisture have me looking to upgrade. I like the idea of rolling into deer camp and not having to jack with the beds or worry about the weather before I want to leave.

I want to get a model with a queen and bunk beds. We will need it for family camping still, but bunk beds seem to be 74". My son is 14 and 6'3" with a lot of growing to do and my daughter is 13 and 6'2" with maybe a little more to go.

So here is the question... are there models out there with longer bunk beds? What is the length from wall to wall in the Forest River models? I like the Salem 27DBUD with the double bunks but I don't know if my herd of Sasquatches can fit going forward.

Thanks,
Larry

One of the reasons we bought a hybrid over a bunkhouse was the short bunks in most of them. There are some floorplans where the 2 full size bunks are open on the end. Still only 74" but at least you aren't wedged between 2 walls.

S-290DBS - Cruiser RV

The link is one we looked at but I'm sure FR must have some similar floorplans.

I have a Sabre 32bhok and the bunks across the back wall are as long as the trailer is wide, it has a third bunk that overlaps the top one.

They quit making the 32bhok but now have the 33bhok that has 4 bunks when the outside kitchen is out.

Not sure if you were interested in a 5er though.

Goodness, those are tall kids. Did you only feed them hot dogs, string beans, and twizzlers?

More or less...

I'm 6'5" (like my dad was) and my father-in-law is 6'8" so we kinda saw it coming.
