How did you attach your 1x2?

Cut the 1x2 to fit. Line up the wood in back and determine the length of wood screw required. I choose a size that goes through the 1x2 and gets me
slightly over half way into the cabinet.
Pre drill the 1x2 for 2 holes (top and bottom). Use screws that are slightly larger than what you drilled. Pick your drill bit size after you find the screws.
My cordless drill does fit in the cabinet and I was able to run the screws in. Go slow as you do not want to split the face wood.
I only needed to do this on one side for each overhead door. It works well for me. Just train any other cabinet operators not to force it closed the the hinge is locked in place.
