Hi I have have just put a 4x6 with a 2x4 in front of it to ramp the good tire up on to the 4x6 . This will raise the flat tire off the ground.
Make sure you loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire before you raise it off the ground.
This will not work if you have the Dexter torsion axle.

Hope this helps Tim

I have one of these and it works well, Trailer Aid Plus Tandem Tire Changing Ramp, got it from Amazon use it for doing maintenance as well like greasing bearings or checking brakes. There are two sizes of this one and I have the highest lift.

I just bought a Rapid Jack a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to try it out this weekend to see if it lifts the adjacent tire off the ground. Worse case would be having to put a board under the rapid jack to get the necessary lift. I have read that some suspensions require adding a board. We'll see and hope for the best.

I have the Torsion Axle, Rubber-Ryde Suspension, I will wait until I get a response back from Dexter on using my rapid jack.

Here's my answer from Dexter.

Dexter would not recommend using drive up ramps to support the weight of the
trailer on one axle or one wheel. The trailer weight should be lifted from
the frame to avoid damaging the suspension.

Thanks
Jim Miller / Dexter Axle

Now the decision, sell my just purchased Andersen Rapid Jack or use it????

Here is the answer I received from my dealer. LMAO

Per the Manufacturer, they don't recommend that the customer change tires. In the case of an emergency, a tire company/specialist would be the best qualified person to perform the repair.

I just went through my Forest River GENERIC Owners Manual. It has ZERO information on jacking. Looks like my my Windjammer is just going to sit parked until I get this figured out. I won't depend on a call to a specialist to change a tire...if he throws a floor jack under it and it's wrong, the results from his mistake won't be know right away and I'm stuck with the repairs....
