Chevy 2500 & Cardinal 3050Rl
We have some friends who just bought a 3050Rl Cardinal and they are thinking of pulling it with a Chevy 2500. I would like to see them in a toner pickup, I do not always believe what the sales people tell new camper owners. Any advice, what do you think about this set up? Hitch wt 2245, uvw 11630, gvwr 14140, I did not find the specs on the truck, was hopping someone out there could help us out. thank you

What year 2500 and is it an HD.
The HD 2500 chevy dmax/allison combo truly is a srw 3500. If you look at the specs on teh 2500HD and the 3500 single rear wheel they are damn near identical.
Chevy could literally just not sell a 3500 single rear wheel.
That being said, Without the year of the truck and the engine package it's all just a guess.

And what is the problem? New weight police at it again?
PS I couldn't ask for a better towing combo than what I have

You never did say what year and engine?
I am just curious. I really don't care what other people do so don't lump me in as a weight police officer lol.

I am going to stay with my 2008 F350, it has treated me well, and if I up grade to a larger unit I should have no problem.

I have a 2008 30 TS Cardinal and 2008 Chevy 4x4. I would like to move up to the 3050 Cardinal, but do not want to buy a new truck. We travel all over the US and I'm concerned about the extra weight of the bigger Cardinal. So for now we are holding onto what we have.
Do you think I can handle the larger unit with my truck?
