Cleaning bugs off

What type of cleaners do you use to clean the bugs off the front of the 5vr?

Everything in the cupboard till I get them off. I try and keep the front end of our rig very well waxed to keep bugs from sticking in the first place. Some of the bug and tar removers work better than others but I have had good luck with products made by Stoner. I've also used the Liquid Clay Bar, can't remember who makes it. Once clean I use NuFinish on the front very generously and usually I try and do it 3 or 4 times a year.

Try using used dryer sheets with your favorite soapy water. The chemical in the dryer sheets softens up the bugs, and they come right off! And it won't harm the finish in any way. We Floridians have "love bugs" during the summer months at times, and those things plaster the camper and the truck, sometimes pretty thick! This trick works very well. Randy

I use Fantastic cleaner. I spray it on and let it soak in about 5-10 mins and most of the bugs come off on the first rinse. A soft car wash brush removes the rest.

If you have Diamond Shield on the front, they suggest using Bug Magic. It is expensive, but I use it regularly on the Berkshire and it gets the crushed critters off fairly easily and it doesn't hurt the finish or the Diamond Shield.
