Coachmen or Shasta? Confused

We purchased the Shasta with the understanding it was owned by Forest river.
Today, we received a FREE 1 year membership application in the Coachmen Owners Association.
We also received this letter:
Dear new coachmen owner

Welcome to the Coachmen family ........
.... In appreciation of your business and as a special welcome into the Coachmen Family, we would like to extend a special gift to you... A FREE 1 YEAR membership in the coachmen owners association for your new unit purchase.

In same packet, we received a free 1 year coachnet roadside assistance membership

Is Shasta still under Coachmen or are they their own subdivision under Forest River? On the website, they are separate

Coachmen owns the Shasta brand but Forest River owns Coachmen. In other words, yes Forest River owns Shasta.

Hummm. I thought Coachmen didn't own Shasta anymore, they aren't under their webpage.
Guess it makes no difference right? Wonder why they still operate separately

As far as I know, Coachmen owned Shasta as a separate division.
When FR bought Coachmen, they got Shasta also.
I'm assuming FR is leaving it as it was, at least for now.

If you go to the Forest River website you won't find Coachmen or Palomino listed either, yet Forest River owns both and the brands they manufacture. I find that strange too.

BTW, Coachnet Roadside Assistance isn't part of Coachmen, they just have similar sounding names. Coachnet Roadside is worth renewing when it comes due. Hopefully you will never need it.

if you click on the Forest River logo on top left of the page, it bring up a new page. Scroll down and you'll see: Coachmen, Palomino, Prime time, Shasta and Viking

Oakman mentioned Coach-Net. They sent someone out just last week to change a flat for me on a cold, wet, windy day. Great folks!

BTW, Oakman, where are you in Jefferson County? I grew up (or at least went through childhood) in House Springs. The mill on the Big River at Byrne's Mill was owned by my grandfather's brother.
