Corian countertops

I have a 2015 rockwood ultralite 2715vs trailer it has the Corian countertop in it. After using the trailer for a few times I noticed several scratches on it. They are not real deep but you can definitely see them when looking across it. I heard or read somewhere that Corian can be repaired by sanding with very fine sandpaper and then buffing.Has anyone tried this before? I am kinda leery of trying this for fear of ruining the top.

I do not know how they did it at the4 dealership but when we picked up our new Cardinal a couple of months ago, there were scratches on the corian countertops. First trip back to dealer to have some missing items and warranty repairs done, they "buffed" out the scratches and it appeared they used some kind of paste very similar in consistency to toothpaste. Made the countertops look brand new and very shiny again. Very pleased with results and I plan on going to Lowes or Home Depot to ask if there is a product they have available to use on the corian! It exists but I just have never seen it done.

Any Corion dealer will sell you a DIY kit. It basically contains several scotch brite pads in different grits and some liquids for scratch removal and polishing.
