Has anyone used Curt or Eaz-Lift WDHs? Opinions?
I've discussed putting one on with a possible new TT purchase dealer. They've actually be pretty relaxed and straight-forward so far. He said they check the settings and all and go over it before letting me leave the lot with the trailer, so sounds at least a bit better than many have reported on here. But those are the two brands they apparently sell/install. I know of Curt. I just don't know if either are good. Eaz-Lift seems to have a good rating on Amazon.
The latter part is if anyone minds giving some input on TT options below, if bored and looking for something to do.
Our original trailer favorites fell through, too long/heavy for my truck. I'm looking at GVWR for max, but it's unlikely we'll ever hit that on the road but once or twice.
TV in signature.
TT options:
Forest River Wolf Pup (Small, but light & can be done room-wise)
Forest River Vibe Extreme Lite (although thinking the lite here might apply more to effects than weight) - 243BH is a bit long, but lighter than previous choices
Forest River Wildwood X-Lite 230BHXL Length isn't too bad, but bit heavy.
Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite - 2509S might be a good option. Not as long, little heavy if maxxed but don't plan on doing so when moving it much.
Keystone Bullet. Those seem nice enough but think they were over 25'. Possible considerations: 202BHSWE, 243BHS (getting long), and 247BHSWE (same as last)
Keystone Passport 239MLWE Express - Same length as Rockwood Mini Lite but lighter since it doesn't have a slideout.
Keystone Passport 2400BH Grand Touring, but I think it's too big/heavy.
EVO T195BH, EVO version of Wolf Pup, kind of?
These three are options but not favorites so far:
Jayco Jay Feather 7 22BHM (Might be too narrow inside)
Jayco Jay Feather 23BHM
Coachman Clipper Ultra-Lite 21BH
Thanks!
