Curt Q16 with Revolution pin box

is anyone using a Curt Q16 with a Revolution pin box? eTrailer had a note not to combine them as the cushion effect of the Q16 is a problem for the Revolution with wedges. Curt says no problem but looking for actual users.

Does the universal wedge work well or is the custom fit best?

I have a husky hitch, I had to go with the custom wedge. It will be easier to hook-up. I think on the bottom side of the pin it list Curt and the# that you would need. I would call etrailer, they can give you the low down, and probably have it in stock. The generic wedge that comes with it, is really only for Reese hitches.

I have the Curt E16 and have looked at the Q16 head on the web. Aside from the stamped plate and jaws (as opposed to the welded flat plate and slide bar) I don't see much difference and don't know why they would say that. Mine works fine with the Revolution.
