Dark Side

Going to the dark side.
Just traded-in my Rockwood HW PUP for a Jay Feather X213.
https://www.jayco.com/products/trave...-feather/x213/

Will miss my Rockwood, and I'll miss this forum. The choice was based on many factors related to weight, length, etc. in my very tight driveway.
We seriously considered a Roo 19, but I'm done with "canvas."
Forest River didn't have a model that competes directly with the X213 or the comparable Keystone Outback 210URS.

Gonna miss you guys. I learned a lot here.

If anyone knows of a comparable forum for Jayco products, I'd deeply appreciate the referral.

Best wishes to all. Happy camping.

Enjoy your rear bed slide TT!
Rockwood/Flagstaff used to make two rear bed slide TTs. But after low sales and problems with the rear slides, they discontinued them.
Be sure to keep an eye on the rear slide framework.

First popup was a 1987 Jayco 1006. It's still in my driveway 32 years later. A little rough for wear, but at 32 years old...I'm really surprised. They don't build them like that anymore. First full size TT was a 2007 Jayco JayFeather. Sold it in in 2017 to a nice older lady that let her deadbeat kids live in it and they burned it down the first summer they owned it.

Well, if I knew Jaycos were flammable, I wouldn't have bought one.

Went up like Napalm from what I heard. Carelessly discarded cigarette was to blame. I smoke, but never once lit up in any of our TT's.

There's no reason to leave the forum. I went to GD last month and still lurk around on FRF.

BTW, nice upgrade. Hope you enjoy it for many years.

Safe and happy travels.

I joined the GD forum when I was shopping, and went with a rockwood. Haven't check in there in a while but I might just do that today! Stick around.
