I agree ... all these leg braces are designed for is reduction of "wiggle" for - aft - side - side. And ... they do their job. Your RV still sits on a suspension system and will bounce no matter what unless of course you rest the frame on cinder blocks like trailer houses.

I'll see how the center bounce is on our next trip, and if it's annoying then I'll consider getting center jacks (whether fixed or portable) to support the frame near the wheels (assuming that's safe to do, since the frame must be supported there by the springs)

I can tell you it made a world of difference to my Columbed.. I used BAL scissor jacks .. Just snugged them down not trying to lift and the bounce was gone

I guess the scissor jacks are mounted to the chassis, just in front of the wheels ?

OC, looks like those are powered stabilizers?
Did you hook them up to a new outside switch, and the 12v system (with a new 12v fuse, or existing tap) ?
Very interested in this setup.
Powered mid-ship stabilizers seem perfect.
If you could point me at any previous posts about this mod that'd be great.

Thanks

Looks like a nice mod, but TBH it's probably more work than I have time for at the moment (us "young"uns still have to "work"), so I'll probably go for a pair of scissor jacks if needed.

I also have a long list of other mods/work to do ...

finish the sewer/fence-post mod this weekend (and install)
replace thermostat with a digital one
install new observation/backup camera
install the new TPMS
Likely put better tires on the 5er soon
buy/install fan and cover for bedroom vent
plan out coupling the middle sewer/dump valve to the front one.
backsplash for bathroom (probably just smart-tiles)
LED replacement bulbs
storage improvements for larder
LED closet lights
new TV for bedroom
HDMI wall plate for main entertainment center
blu-ray player for main entertainment center
