Question Finding Calgon

I'm trying to find Calgon in my area, but haven't had any luck. I've also searched the US WallyMart, Kmart & Meijers websites & gotten no results.

I'm going to be down to Indy later in Aug' & was wondering if there were any members from the area that know (have personally bought it) where I can buy Calgon while I'm there?

Sorry Rev

<sigh>

The word is out. DW went to Wal-Mart to buy some for the camper and they were out of stock. Also out of stock at our normal grocery store.

The FBI is going to find some RV'er with seven thousand cases of the stuff in a shipping container in his back yard.

I know its very hard to find the powder form. I have however found the liquid at wallyworld and kmart. Its a short white bottle holds maybe a quart if that. They should put it with the laundry stuff.

It's funny around here (Southern Maryland) its very hard to find the liquid, but the powder is available from several different places.

I just dissolve a cup of the powder in a gallon of hot water, let it cool and dump it in the toilet.

I find powder form in the pharmacy area and liquid in the laundry detergent area at my local Walmart.

LOL

Canada Customs nailed a guy recently trying to smuggle chewing tobacco.

Quote:
days ago

A Mississauga man has been convicted in St. Catharines court for trying to smuggle half-a-tonne of chewing tobacco into Canada.
Irfan Vakharia, 33, was trying to cross the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge on Jan. 27 in a commercial truck when he was stopped by border officials, according to a release.
The Mississauga man told officials he had no personal goods to declare, but was later observed throwing cases from the back of his truck into a snow bank.

The cases held 500 kilograms of chewing tobacco worth about $40,000.

On July 16, Vakharia was convicted of attempting to smuggle under the Customs Act. He was fined $5,500 and received a six-month prison sentence to be served conditionally as house arrest.
St. Catharines Standard

They're referring to half a metric tonne, which converts to 1100 pounds. I think most chew is sold in 3 oz packages, so he must've had a full load.

We've been looking at every WalMart and grocery store and haven't found it yet. We'll keep looking but may just buy it on line. masonga - Thanks for the link.

water softener salt

I've been using water softener salt.

a 50 pound bag is about $4. Yes you have to dissolve it but that really doesn't take long.
