Need more info on the generator, make and model will help. Does the generator have a 50 amp built in plug or are you going to use an adapter?

It doesn't have a 50amp plug. Using a adapter. It is a GPP (general power products) APP 6000 two 120 plugs and 1 120/240 plug.

Assuming the 120/240 plug is a RV 30 amp plug and you are using a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter I am thinking you will be ok except for you will only be able to run one AC unit. Think about where you are camping and other campers this unit at 75 deb is quite loud. I would hook it up at home and make sure the adapter is powering up the correct circuits in your TT, turn stuff on one at time and see how much it will handle.

We are new to RVing only on our 2nd unit since moving up from tenting but have a cummins 5500 in our unit and other the surprise off amount of propane it uses it seems to be powerful enough.

Take 5 and make sure to ID the polarity and potential of each lead from the 120/240 leading to the RV plug. If wired wrong you could apply 240 volts to a 120 busbar, not pretty.
