Going to buy an Alpha Wolf 264DBH-L

Hey guys, I just joined the forum, I am going to go buy a 264DBH-L tomorrow. Couple questions, is there anything I need to look for on the walk through when I get it. A ton of good reviews, so not too worried.

Another question, I am looking for one of the bumper mount cargo racks to add onto this unit, They are on a ton of Forest River trailers, just can't find one in a catalog to purchase. Any thoughts?

Looking forward to being a new member

Harbour Freight carries them, although I am not sure of the quality. Try Amazon or Google

Lippert makes most of the ones on FR products.

We picked up our alpha wolf a fee weeks ago. There are several good check lists online you can use. Once I found the on I wanted to us I emailed it to the dealership to let them know this was what I was going to use for my walk through and pre- delivery inspection. Basically telling them I wasn't messing around. Before I even started the inspection they told me about a small bubble rip in the rear decal and a door molding that was barely split at the top of the door. They had already ordered replacements. So they knew I meant business if I was going to sign for it.

As far as the bumper cargo rack, be careful about voiding your warranty. If the dealership doesn't install it it might void your warranty.

I heard there is an additional 1 year warranty offered by the manufacture for cheap. I asked about it and they did not know about it. Is this true? Should i go straight to forest river?

Forest River no longer offers the extra year warranty for $100. They stopped this last year per all the information I found on this forum. I ended up getting a 84 month extended warranty through the dealership
