hello hello

Hello,

Well I'm finally gonna move my rig more than 25 miles between storage and my home. I'm gonna start USING IT! I'm excited. The thing is, I don't know hardly anything about my 385rlts. Spent some time figuring out how to get the ceiling fan on to help dry out the carpet due to the rubber liner around the top of the livingroom slideout detaching, but only about 4 inches on one end. I've done a temp fix with waterproof tape, but I need to recaulk everything. The roof is fine due to me getting a roofing friend to put PVC on it several years ago. I'm sure i"ll have lots of questions, and I appreciate this forum as a fantastic source of help.

Hello and good luck. Check your running gear, brakes, bearings and tires.

May get flamed for this but if tires are 4 years old and been sitting I would get new ones all around.

I would also suggest inspecting roof. Even though you had it covered it may not be bad idea to get up there and look real good at everything.

Well, I'm finally gonna take the trailer on a 12 hour trip to North Carolina. Good advice Maggot. I just bought 7 new PowerKing Towmax STRII tires. The roof is fine, as I put a pvc roof on it last year, but I'll get up there and take a look. Brakes and bearings are more difficult, but I'll figure it out. Thank you.
