The first new one for me in 2000 was a Trail Harbor by Trail Lite never had to go back to dealer for anything. Just traded
it in last day of February 2014 for the new Rockwood have been back to dealer one time and have to go again now. I like the Rockwood but it is not made as well as the Trail Harbor was. I always thought the Trail Harbor was a so called entry level trailer but i found out different after buying a so called step up. Not trying to bad mouth Rockwood but i found out the step up is just a side ways step that cost a lot more and yes i checked the rockwood out for 6 months before buying. Oh well you live and learn.

I have had my 25ula work and play toy hauler for 2 years now, and the only thing that broke was the spray nozzle on the kitchen sink. I went to the local hardware store and popped on a new one. Other than that I am very happy with mine, considering the non-conventional camping and things I put in my camper. Lol

We have had our 2013 grey wolf 29dsfb for a year now and since then we have a leak in the front storage area, the dining room t able/bed went crashing to the floor (twice) when my child laid on the bed, the oven igniter broke off while trying to start the stove, both exterior door latches broke off and the mouldings warped thru the winter. All this within the first 2 trips out.

Plus to add on to this the dealer is always giving us the run around and I have to get angry to have things repaired and repaired properly.

pretty good record

1972, 1977, 1984 Starcraft popups - virtually no trouble
1989 Mallard Sprinter - fell apart in 2 years, many problems
1991 Coachman 30' - great trailer but wife hated interior color
1995 Prowler 27' - another great one, no problems
1999 Wildwood 5er - only kept 9 months, so bad that parts fell off while driving down the road.
2000 Sunline 28' - by far the best one, built like a brick outhouse, great
2006 Holiday savoy 29' - Made the Wildwood above seem like a good rig, total junk
2010 Flagstaff 28fkss - real close to the Sunline in quality. One major problem and FR picked up the trailer in Rochester NY, returned it to the factory for repair and brought it back in under a month.

We have visited the factory twice for tours and were very impressed. Definitely would purchase another although they did discontinue our floorplan.

Bought new 2010 Flagstaff 5th wheel in 2009 (first 5th wheel off the line that year) and had a leaking seal between the air conditioner and roof. It was installation error as the unit was not torqued down properly. Found it almost immediately (first rain had water on the kitchen floor under the AC unit air handler).

I found it when I checked the camper the next day. Fixed under warranty.

No other troubles, not caused by my learning curve.

Only problem we had with our 12 Flagstaff 5er was the top gear on landing jack motor side had a tooth broken off. Dealer replaced it haphazardly and I corrected. No problems whatsoever since that I didn't cause like the 110v water heater element burning out in Nov 13 because I drained the tank and cleaned the anode with the 110 switch left on.

New rv with enough problems for all

I wish I could say I had no problems. But I have had way too many with my Forest River 3050SF Class C. Only rv ever bought new. RV er for 20 plus years various units and brands and never had any problems like a new one!

Had a 2002 Springdale, had a few issues with it biggest being that the rear slide shifted and needed adjustment. Dealer argued that they weren't supposed to, a month later I brought it back with the slide so far out of whack it had torn the weatherstripping off. 12 more years of ownership and no serious issues. One set of tires installed in 2009.

Now my 2014 Sierra. Got a short list going, the flashing on the couch slide has a small buckle, the couch slide seems to be hanging up at the bottom when I pull it in. Still functional and is likely just me. Eight nights out, probably 1,500 miles so far, the list isn't worth bothering with yet. This winter I'll take it back and let them have it awhile to fix things up if I don't get froggy and just do it myself.

Bought a new Montana Mountaineer 356TBF. No real problems. An adhesive smear on the refrigerator panel and that's about it.
