I Can't believe this happen (Flooded Camper)

I ran our 2010 Grey Wolf 28 bhks up to Lake George and set everything up for my wife and kids.. My wife invited her girlfriend and her kids to spend the week..I had to go back to work...my wife calls me and tells me that one of the kids left the bathroom sink on and it flooded the trailer floor right rear corner the grey water tank was closed..my wife said she had open it up that morning to drain.. I pulled up the lenolium to find the cheap wood flooring deteriorating ... What can I do to fix this problem.

It shouldn`t deteriorate that fast. leave the linoleum up and run a fan t dry it out. it should be OK.

Don't know about fixing it but you could try renting or borrowing a dehumidifier. With everything buttoned up it might dry things out better than using the fan alone.

Get a dehumidifier in there and let it rip!

It will do a great job..

Get in the habit of shutting off the water supply to your camper when you leave for an extended period of time. The cheaply built plumbing lines and connections are an accident waiting to happen.

Good advice and I always go in and open a faucet for a moment then close it back to let the pressure off...

Thanks for all the feedback.. I used fans and a dehumidifier...and re-enforce the floor with 1/8" ply.. don't know why forest river uses a CDX type partical board seeing that it is much heavier and when wet falls apart.

Probably because it'll save them a grand total of maybe $35-40 in materials which would work out to $100 at the retail level. And we ALL want to save that $100.00. Even more if they use marine grade plywood!

And THEY are not the ones who have to deal with the weight issue!

What makes you think they employ engineers? I can't see any evidence of it.
