The geek in me likes to know what the weather is doing so after looking online for the set up I want to use, I found this >

Hung on the wall using 2 command strip hangers. They don't like sticking to that wood.

Still working on a way to keep that area at the command center tidy of all the wires. Damn gadgets.

I've got the wind speed indicator mounted on a 1" dowel which is (releasable) zap strapped to my rear ladder. 3-4 feet above the roof.

I'll take a pic of that set up tomorrow. Kinda dark outside.

Been look'n at the ones Costco sells.....I have a permanent mounted flagpole

Flagpole is motor driven, so it's be an ideal place for the wind speed detector
