I bought the system and It does work. Just be aware that ground sloping in more than one direction can be problematic. It worked the first time I tried it, and it was surprising easy. The ground sloped both down, and sideways making the system highly unstable. Just be careful.

Here's how I mounted mine on an alum plate screwed to the bottom of the cap.
