Location of the Fresh Water Drain
Hi all, i'm a newbie and just bought a 2011 Wildcat 28RKBS. Enjoyed the couple times my wife and I took it out for dry camping. I just winterized the unit and the dealer mentioned I needed to drain the fresh water tank. He told me it was underneath the trailer and near the fresh water input. I looked all over, but could not find it. Maybe I don't know what I'm looking for (what it looks like), but I couldn't find anything except black conduit for the electrical wiring. Can anyone help me? Sorry forgot to mention I purchased it in Colorado. I just learned that there are west coast and east coast models.

My drain valve is small and white in color and has a lever, not a knob like a faucet. You'll be down on all fours trying to find it. And it's right where he said it would be, under the trailer near the fresh water fill port. I have enclosed underbelly and there is a hole cut for this drain valve.
Be sure you are not confusing "city water" (pressurized) with the fresh water tank inlet. These two inlets are almost on opposite ends of my trailer.

Thanks Radio. I know I looked in that area. I did not confuse the two inut ports. I just could not find it. I'll be back home and take another look Monday. I also have an enclosed underbelly, but no holes cut out or lines coming out of it. It was cold as H--- and like a wind tunnel when I was looking, so it is possible the conditions got the best of me and I just over looked it.

Here is what the valve actually looks like, and in relation to the inlets on the side of my trailer. The drain is between my sewer connection and the slide, so close to the slide that it might be hard to find if the slide were closed.
Anyway, now you know what the thing looks like, and that should help. (and I bet yours is completely different... )
And I need to wash my trailer.

The valve on our trailer looks like Radio's however it is on the opposite side of the trailer to the water fill and right beside the low point drains and under the city water connection. So I would check both sides of the trailer over. Also ours is almost hidden under the belly covers and you only see the drain spigot.

Hey Radio, am I seeing correctly or what? I can't believe that the fresh water inlet is directly above an electrical outlet! Is that stupid, or what! Forest river engineers surely had a brain far_ on that bit of engineering! Randy

On my 2010 31TS WC the shore power hook up is right by the tank fill inlet. Something never change.

I believe the box is for the cable and phone connection if it's the same as ours.

Thanks to all for your help. I found both freshwater and overflow drains inside the underebelly cover. Had to remove part of it to push them back through the underbelly cover. So now all is fine, can only wait for spring to start my next adventure.
