Looking to buy the new Surveyor SV-304qb

New to the camping world. We love the floor plan of the Sv 304 qb. We have two girls 5 and 3, and they love the bunks w/ the dinette. I would like some feed back on Forest River and the Surveyor line. Anything good or bad is welcome.
Thanks Rich

Dont have the Surveyor but I can say our Flagstaff is a great unit. This is the first forest river product for us and the only problems were self inflicted.

Hi Rich. Welcome to our new Forest River Forum. We hope you will find it informative and maybe even fun.

I do not have the Surveyor model but have the Flagstaff 26RKS. Thus far we have been very pleased with it and enjoy it very much. I looked at some of the Surveyors at RV shows and the ones we saw appear to be similar to the Flagstaff/Rockwoods, with one we saw having almost the same floorplan we have. Forest River overall is good quality, at least from my experience.

Good luck in your decision and don't hesitate to ask questions.

Kim

Also thinking about buying a new Surveyor

Hi everyone,

Glad I found this forum. I want to know what Surveyor owners think about their trailers. Finding detailed opinions on the Surveyor has been difficult, and we want to buy soon for an October camping trip. All comments are welcome.
Thanks!

Bought our first Forest River Surveyor this spring and have no complaints so far. We pulled it for about 3000kms throught the Rockies the summer with no problems. The quality is okay just the usual mass producing problems. Hope you get the one you want and happy camping. (keep the shiny side up)

Rich, we just ordered that SV304 model, did you go with it? Seemed like a very spacious and flexible plan...

One thing I learned if you're shopping off the lot, the VIN numbers ending with 11990 or greater have some of the new features (like enclosed underbelly etc.).

hello all, the wife and I just traded our 2005 trailcruiser 30qbss for the Sv304 with white cabinets. I added the slide awning and a rear ladder as well. we are looking forward to this unit as it is definelty a step up for us. The unit seems to be well built with a well thought out floor plan. Happy trails!
