Low dollar approach to hitch protection

So I was tired of seeing all the snow piling up in the bed of the truck and on the hitch head, so here was my low-tech, low dollar solution:

Sorry that the pic is upside down--no matter how I format it, when it uploads to FRF, its upside down. I even rotated it upside down and then uploaded it, and it's still wrong.

Anyway, yes, that is a heavy-duty trash bag secured with a rope. So far, its working.
