Low Temps

We are camping and the temps are supposed to be in the low 20's tonight. Will our pipes be ok if we keep the water hose hooked up and keep the faucet inside on a slow drip?

Does your unit have the cold weather package? If not, IMHO, I would think a slow steady stream would keep pipes from freezing. Plus, the interior warm air should help.

Don't know if we have the cold weather package or not, but I think we will go ahead with the slow drip method. Thanks!

We always disconnect the fresh water hose and drain it for freezing temps. We fill the fresh water tank so we have water for showers/toilet in the morning. I also shut all the gray valves (black is always shut) and make sure the sewer hose is empty. We use a ceramic heater in the bedroom and set the thermostat for the gas heater to come on occasionally to keep the basement heated. If we will be staying for awhile I will use a heated water hose.

Moderate drip, open doors on cabinets at sinks to let warm air get to plumbing. Good luck.
