Mini Lite 2304 vs 2503S

Help and opinions needed:
We were ready to order a 2503s Mini Lite however after reading all of the posts about slide troubles we are thinking about switching to a 2304 without a slide. We are a couple with no traveling children so the Murphy bed should be fine.
The questions I have are....
1. Will we be better off without having a slide to deal with and have less space OR ... Go with the 2503S and have a kitchen slide and more space?
2. Is a slide trouble or worth it?
Thanks!

For what it is worth, we own a 2502s and have had no trouble with the slide ever. You will enjoy the extra space provided by the slide.

You shouldn't really judge things like that but the posts on here. People post to complain and seek help. Very few are posting just to tell others that that have had no trouble and are enjoying their trailer. For every "complaint" post on here, I'll bet there's a hundred out there doing just fine.

I hope that's the case, HappyCamper77. Just purchased a Micro Lite 25KS (twin to the Rockwood 2503S). Also just the two of us and initially was leaning against a slide. The lure of more space was too much to resist!

I think if you bought a camper based on the complaints you read here....you wouldn't buy a camper. Lol.

An excellent point. Kinda comes down to the concept of minimizing risk, and/or choosing the possible issues that are easier to deal with. A slide failure (on a Shwintek) is tougher to deal with than many other potential problems, seems to me.

We have a 2504s with a slide and we love it. We had a small Jayco without a slide and even 2 people trying to get around each other was a problem. Our new 2504s is so much more comfortable. We have had no problems with our slide and we have had it since last October.
Good luck.

We never had any trouble with the slide in our Shamrock. I would never buy a trailer without a slide. It just gives you so much more space.

Go with the one that has the slide. I have had many trailers and 5th wheels and I have never had a problem with the slide. Slides do need some maintenance but not much. Keep the seals clean and check them regularly any mechanisms lubricate with silicon spray and you should be fine.
