Move hydraulic slide in manually

I have heard that "if' the hydraulic slide motor fails you just insert a hex key attached to a drill to retract the slides. Has anyone experienced this and if so what size hex key did you use?

Thanks

Hello I believe it is 1/4 in hex its at the end of the electric pump motor. The drill drives/ spins the eletric motor/pump so that you can move the slides. You will see the decal on the end of the motor showing you the place for the hex and size remove the deal insert the hex and drive. Hope this helps.

Also don't forget to be pressing the open or close rocker switch depending on if you're trying to open or close the slide while using the drill.
