Moving on down the highway

Hi All,

We just took our unit to the dealers to get a few minor repairs done before the camping season starts. Yes.........you live up here and they have start and finsh dates, our site is April 15 to October 15.

Anyway, as we were going along the highway we seen quite a few RV units.
My wife and I ALWAYS look at these other units, we like to see what other people own and what other type of units are out there and of course see if anyone has the same brand and especially model as ours. This is just something we have always done for as long as I can remember.

Our thought was, we wonder if the other RV passer by's were doing the same thing, look us over as we do them. Seems when we are looking over at the other RV people, they appear to be looking ahead(this would preserve the longevity of live) without takeing notice of the other RV unit?

So my question is, do you look at other Rv'ers as we do or do you just cruise merrily along down the highway? Just wondering what other people do.

John

I am very observant when I am driving and always look at what else is out there. So no, you are not alone. Some people are too focused on what's in front of them and don't take in all of the scenery. Now, if you are not comfortable in your driving abilities and need to keep your eyes on the road in front of you, by all means do so to keep everyone safe. I like to take the opportunities to see my surroundings though.

I look at all the traffic, not just other RVs. I don't trust they actually know how to drive so I keep an eye out all around.

I like when we see other rigs on the road. It is fun to look at and tell ourselves we are going next weekend or in couple of weeks. We saw a lot of rigs on the road this weekend.

We always look at other rigs and often wonder where they are headed, home or out on the road. Love to see all the RV's moving about this great country.

I never noticed how many were on the road until we started a few years ago. Now I notice each and every one.

We always look as well. It is amazing seeing the weekend families showing up with a pop up with 6 bikes on top dragging the tongue backing into the pot next to us. They 4 hrs of setup for 2 nights.

When we are driving along we always look at all the RVs and call out how many slides they have on this side. We have been playing this game for a long time. We also walk around the campgrounds to see how other people camp.

We live in SE MI and not far from NE IN so this time of year in particular we see lots of new TT & 5er's being delivered. We went to the FR factory in 2013 in April and the closer we got to it you would see a new one being towed out for delivery every mile or so. Was neat to see.
