Need help with TV and viewing channels

Let's take one step at a time - lets work on cable stations first.

I was at a cg with cable TV connections. I hooked up a coax cable from the power stand to the coax outlet on the outside of the trailer. Then I had the TV scanned for all available channels. I ended up with only 1 or 2 local stations (KCET & Fox) but a lot of the higher number channels (these stations came in fuzzy).

I tried watching/scanning with the little green on; antenna up and down; set for cable; set for antenna. All of those choices gave me different results but none good.

Question: What are the correct steps when trying to watch TV via cable connection?

The booster button off...no little green light. The TV in the cable mode, not antennae mode. I shouldn't matter whether the antennae is up or down, but I would leave it down....something less to forget when you pull-out.

I have the same issue. In my case the L/R television isn't digital compatible so I need a converter box to get all the upper channels. Right now i only get about 8 -10 channels.
