You're gonna get a bunch of different opinions. I prefer Trailer King tires but that's just my opinion. Which ever tire you choose. Always accompany them with tire pressure monitoring system.

Just watch out because while the tires will carry a greater weight and give you more headroom on speed, etc., the suspension and axles of your trailer won't carry any more weight than they are rated for. Also, sometimes the wheels will only carry the pressure for the tires they were rated for in the first place and could come apart if too much inflation is applied. Make sure you check the ratings out before inflating the tires to their max. People have been killed by exploding rims.

X3 Goodyear Endurance. Replaced the OEM Goodyear Marathons, which were China bombs, after two tires failed after less than a year of service.

I think GY learned their lesson making the Marathons in china, the Endurance is made in the USA

listening...

Seriously, consideration of cost vs. price is wise, especially when an effort to save a small amount of money can potentially cost a large amount of money.

I have the cheap OEM tires on my TT, but they will be replaced with Goodyear Endurance in the near future.

While attending a RV show last week, I saw some Jayco TT's equipped with the Goodyears. Maybe this is the beginning of a positive trend.

Tires

Carlyles were original on my trailer, worked well. I was able to move up size and load rating w/ Goodyear Endurance and only gained 3/16" in height. I found the GY on sale less than what the Carlyle replacement were. After 5K, I believe they tow better and minimal wear on 7100 lb. TT. GY has a very good load rating chart also.
