Bought my first RV tow behind when I was 62 and it was a 21'. I'm now 65, retired, and just stepped up to 33' FW. It's a lot different but I'm getting used to it. I plan a 1100 mile fall color tour in September and then will be going to Florida in February.

My first TT was 31ft now age 42 and I have a 40ft FW 54ft total with truck. I don't think age is all that important you just need to be comfortable towing or driving your rig.

saw a woman driving a cc dually dodge 4x4 (with cummins power of course) pulling a 3 axle toy hauler today. dad was sitting in passenger seat and both were every bit mid 70's. actually, their age and speed matched pretty well too.

Don't you know, never ask a woman her age? I'm getting ready to be 29 for the 10th time. I tow a 30' TT. I started driving horse trailers at 16 and was driving myself to horse shows without my parents by 17.

26 years old with a 25 year old wife pulling the same 36' sv305! To me age really has little to do with it... State of mind and experience are the big key factors!

A little off topic but how do you like the 305? Any mods you've done/suggest? Complaints?

I'm working on a set of awning poles that OC and Turbs got 3/4 of this forum hooked on.
