X2. 60 and 30 and my last one was 34 ft. 30 ft is MUCH easier to handle with a 3/4 ton. I love it.

I am 44 years old and we have a 36' cardinal. I dont think age is a factor. My wife and I are full times, I work a 28days on 28days off and we travel quite a bit on my days off and we keep our camper our home at a park and I have talked to people that are 70+ hauling 38,39,& 40"ers. Most set up by themselves.

70 yr old pulling 27ft box and setup myself. While setup might take longer than it use to, it's still worth it.

I''m 66, and my set-up, from the grill guard on the front of the truck, to the bike rack on the rear of the travel trailer, is over 60 foot in total length. Trailer itself is just over 35'. No issues at all with towing, or with set-up, and the trailer is new. Good Lord willing, I plan to tow for years to come. Health, abilities, and desire are a few of the controlling factors, not one's age.

Lots of folks older than me are pulling bigger rigs, and doing just great. Conversely, we've all seem younger folks (and older ones) who struggle to back a 20' trailer into a space. Go with what you're comfortable in towing (meaning safely, and with confidence) and enjoy life. It sounds like you've purchase a unit that will offer you many years of pleasure!

Wishing you success!

I really appreciate all the comments. It really helped. My husband is 60, I'm 59 soon to be 60. My husband is going to retire the December he turns 67 and not a day later (bad job). With me don't know yet. With us, I do most of the driving and my husband does the backing. I can't back worth a darn. We have a 350 Ford Diesel quad cab & tow the Surveyor SV 305. Our neighbor always gives me flack because I grew up on a farm and never learned to back anything. That was my Dad's fault. Again, thanks for all the comments. Keep them coming

DH is 66 and does the driving, I'm the co-pilot. We have a f250 with crew cab and a 40ft 5th wheel. He doesn't have any problems until trying to back into some of the tight places in some campgrounds. Then the language gets a little colorful. :-)

I am 61 and pull a 25. Conversely, if I were 25 again, I wouldn't think twice about pulling a 61.....and a few other stunts, too.
