Any suggestions on SP Campgrounds around the Finger Lakes in New York State?

How large of a rig? I love Taughannock Falls State Park just north of Ithaca on Rt. 89...it's a nice SP with lots to see and do nearby. I'm not sure of what they have in terms of hook-ups, but I'm sure you could find out online. Now if you need an RV park type CG, Sned-Acres is a bit further north on 89, above Interlaken. Full hookup CG, nice people, with a view of the lake but not right on the lake. There's also a KOA in Watkins Glen that is supposedly very nice, but I've never stayed there.

They just had the FROG Wine event up there. I'm sure more forum users will chime in.

I have stayed at the Watkins Glenn KOA. I liked it. I would recommend it. Here is a picture of our site two years ago..

Letchworth is great, and definitely check out Watkins Glen - either the KOA or the state park, depending on your preference. Also, Sampson SP is very nice. Great place for biking and they have a nice military museum there (the park was a WWII naval training station). Plus close to the wine trail and everything else.
