I live in SW Florida. The sun down here will kill anything you leave exposed to it. The roof seal is one of the most important things on a trailer to protect. I bought good a 5 year cover to protect it. After 2 years, the sun is starting to break down the material. I'll likely need another one soon, but to me the cost is cheap compared to the damage I KNOW will happen without it.

It is definatly a plus to keep your RV, boat, car, truck, MC out of the weather elements.
