Owners manual for 1977 Prowler travel trailer

I just purchased a 1977 Prowler and would like to find an owners manual. I am brand new to travel trailers and would like the manual to answer all my questions.

and congrats on your camper. If you can not find an owners manual, just post your questions here. There is a wealth of knowledge available and I'm sure some one will be able to answer your questions.

Most all trailers are very similar in performance and construction no matter the manufacturer. It will probably be difficult to find a manual for a model that old, but if you have specific questions about any of the working parts (a/c, water heater, furnace, etc.) please ask away. Chances are you will get an answer.

I had a Prowler at one time and the manual for that wasn't much better than Forest River manuals.

Fleetwood fell victim to bankruptcy in 2009. They completely dropped their towable line and now only deal with motorhomes.
If you are looking for a manual for any Fleetwood product, call 1-800-322-8216.
Select the prompt for motorhome manuals even if you have a towable unit. Tell the service rep you have a towable unit and they will send you a manual if available.

I haven't figured out how to PM on here, but I just bought an 1980 Prowler and have no manual either. If the other guy doesn't contact you, I would like to get your manual. Let me know how I can PM you, LOL. If you still have the manual and let me know where to send you the self addressed envelope.
Thanks.

My first TT was a 98 Terry (same units, different name, as Prowler) and the manual that it came with was almost useless. The information was so generic that I found it much better to look to forums like this to find things out as Hokiehall has suggested. The specific manuals for the individual components like the fridge and such were however invaluable to me .
