Patriot 26dbh fuse issue - Kitchen - thermostat

“Kitchen” fuse keeps blowing. I disconnected the wire being fed by this fuse and it has continuity between it and chassis/ground.

Before I tear into panels trying to follow this wire, I’d like to see if someone with with more experience has a short cut. I have a lot of experience with electronics; (I actually sell alot of these RV converters) but I don’t have much experience with tracing wires in an RV. I’m assuming it’s rubbing metal or something like that. PS I’m assuming it also powers the thermostat, without which, the AC won’t turn on.
