Recently purchased a 2015 Crusader. The wheel well trim was broken. I replaced it, But not sure I've got it right. Passenger side on the slide. The trim is cut in 2 pcs, but they don't match up and the front catches the wind. A pic of the front part of the trim on the slideout would be a big help. Thanks in advance.
We just picked up our 2017 Crusader 315RST yesterday. I believe the main difference between ours and the 295RST is the bedroom/bathroom layout, so I'm thinking the rest of the two trailer's layout should be the same, inside and out.
Here's a couple of pics of our passenger side wheel trim.
I hope this helps you.
You have the correct pieces. I attached a photo, sorry you can't see what it looks like when the slide is in. But they do not match up. The slide does not come in flush with the side of the rig, thus leaving the trim away from the front piece. I haven't had any trouble with the trim catching wind. Just make sure you keep the screws tight as they have a tendency to loosen up, probably from movement when going down the road. Also there is a brace that is screwed to the trim in the area between the tires.

Fred: You answered my question. I made a bracket to take some of the wind load off of the front piece. Seems like the front piece if trim should be shimmed out 3/4" to match up better
