pictures of your older trailers

Here is a picture of my gipsy 1988 16 foot travel trailer. I also pulled this trailer with a chevrolet citation 2.8 V6. This trailer was weighting 1600 pounds. Just to show you tat in those years also they could make lightweight trailers.

2005 Fleetwood Sea Pine. I know it's not a FR, but it's what started it all!

First camper was an old Rockwood popup that we had for about two years(don't have good pics of first popup)

Second camper was a 1998 Coachmen

Sold the Coachmen and was without a camper for a while, then bought the girls a Coachmen popup as a surprise Christmas gift, used it once in the spring and decided that we needed a restroom.

Traded the popup in on a Trailmanor (this was the biggest trailer I could tow with my Colorado pickup).

Not a very good pic but it's all I have at the moment and even includes a gratutious shot of the Big Red Lemon. 2008 Sunnybrooke RV's Edgewater 298BHE and the new 2011 V-Lite 30WRLS. Was a very nice first trailer but the bunkhouse was a waste of space as the grandkids never camped with us that often and I wanted more space for us. So went from sleeps 10 in 29ft to sleeps 4 in 30ft.

If you want to count when we were kids and camped with our parents;

1st Camper was a 1965 Coleman popup - all canvass and no amenities (No pics)

2nd Camper was a 1970 Apache popup - this was state of the art back then. It had a sink! It had a hard top which we cranked up by hand then, the two bunks pulled out and were canvass but, the two sides were solid fiberglass panels which folded out (that was state of the art back then). Sold in 1975.

Then us kids started getting older and didn't want to go camping anymore.

My first Camper was a 2009 Wildwood LE 27 RLSS purchased in 2008. (Talk about a change in our perception of comfort level) !!!!

Now, we upgraded to a 2011 Prime Time Lacrosse 303 RKS

2009 Fleetwood Saratoga.
Upgraded in Jan 2010 to a Rockwood 2604 Ultralight. Got tired of folding and tucking in the sides everytime we packed up.

HOw does you camper pull with your F-150? What is the weight of your Flagstaff?

We are looking at the Forest River Rockwood 8312SS... We have a 2006 F-150 crew cab 5.4L 3.55axle. How do you think it will pull?

Another one of our older trailer was a gipsy 580 trailer. It was a 1992 model and the weight was only 3200 pounds. This trailer had 2 doors and a separate master bedroom with a queen bed. I really liked this trailer. It was fabricated in Montreal Quebec Canada. Not sure if they were sold in the USA?
